Need some help on what to do

Approx about 2 weeks ago I am in a store looking around (keeping an eye on my car) then this truck pulls up beside my car and the passenger opens the door into my fender..... from the quotes I have it is approx $800-$1300 to fix

I go outside and show the lady what she just did and she says it wasn't her and I proved to her that her door lines up with mine. So she say oh okay was me (and she is pretty pissed off) any way I got her address (its a p.o box in sundre) phone number, name, DL #, and her insurance broker.

I have tried contacting her probably around 15 times and leaving voicemails but no one ever picks up!

What options do I have? CPS says that they can't do anything and recommended small claims court. What is your opinion?

again...phone your insurance....they will do the work for you

lol I was going to give them a call. But they closed before I had a chance. Does it mater if I have full coverage or not? Also to that okay if I dont have her policy #?

No, it was her fault, and the minimum insurance is for damage to others, so hers has to cover it.

You should be fine with the info you have, call and find out.

I had a similar problem years ago with a neighbor that kept hitting my car right after I got it repainted to boot. CPS can't do anything even if you witness it although the officer I talked to sure wish he could have. I guess if you bash your car into another persons it is considered an accident and not vandalism. Once is an accident more then that is vandalism. Worst comes to worst, take her to small claims court, if anything it will teach one more person out there that it is not ok to get away with that ****.

actually i believe it still falls under the premise of hit and run.
we had this happen to property in our underground parkade. Call CPS give them the low down, and call insurance broker. Insurance will do a lot of the leg work and if you have a CPS case # they can tie it to youre golden.

Did you get her license plate number? How come no policy number? Call your insurance and get there advise. This is the kind of thing you pay them for.
