Guest submission from David along with this backstory: This errant spanner was left in the engine bay of a car at the Pukekohe race circuit in Auckland New Zealand. It escaped from the engine bay towards the end of the main straight, at full speed, bounced onto the track, bounced up, onto the hood of an Alfasud and through the windscreen as seen in the photo. Luckily no injury resulted, but the driver of this Alfa was not impressed ! The shower of glass fragments at high speed was not his idea of a fun day at the track !Last edited by Tuna; 07-25-2011, 10:20 PM.JayComment
