made the drive out car is misfiring like a mother under load i assume its coil packs any one know of a vw shop in kelowna i could go to to get some or am i stuck with the dealership?

haha got it all sorted i had a pack in the trunk i forgot about, no shop in town would scan my computer without charging me an arm and a leg for some reason so i had to do it the old guess and check way and because it was only under load had to take the pack out and go for a drive to see if it worked, luckily i got it right the first time. my girlfriends dad lives out here so we come up frequently, we also have friends in van so thats the next stop im in BC quite often during the summer.

I was curious about this because I go to the Shuswap and from others that have been up there is no VW anything up there lol. The closest VW anything I have is in Vernon(I think), Kamloops and Kelowna. I'm curious because if anything ever does happen am I going to be screwed? lol. I go back 3-4 times a year so I have things for a minor emergency but nothing that I could do major repairs. Maybe we can start a list?2010 GolfComment

I keep a couple spare coils in the trunk. I believe autozone (or at least they used to) can read your codes for free if you ever need it. Or you can pick up a cheapo $75 scanner and keep it in the trunk.GT3071R and more...Comment
