Kane, I fully understand things go south from time to time. But if you care to re-read my original post, this is not the first time this has happened, and this "childish post" is not my first resort. In the past I would go there and try to work something out, to no avail. My situation was like Bonfire's. They would give me the most retarded excuse and try to play it out as if its my fault for their fuk up. This time was no different. They sold me the wrong filter, i'm in the middle of an oil change, I call them and they provide NO SERVICE!!! For this, they deserve NO RESPECT!

After the first few fuk ups, I turned the other cheek and even defended their business saying that everyone makes mistakes and they are good guys. But enough is enough. Its not my job to triple check part numbers because they can't match them. I'm an accountant, thats what I do. If I mismatch numbers at work, they fire my ass. Guess what...i'm still happily employed. Perhaps they should take their employment into consideration. If mistakes are made, solutions need to be found before blame gets placed.

I've never had a problem getting the right parts from C1.

It's because you don't swear at them where Patryk probably does......

Well curtis TECHNICALLY sold you the right part because that's the number on the receipt. When I picked up the filter he just gave me the wrong one from the shipment they got that afternoon. I seriously don't think its a problem but they could have handled it a bit better.

Only had my car there once. Unfortunately they couldn't find the cause of the vibration I had, so I had to go to dealership right after to get them to take care of it. Was a CV in the end.

I agree with this statement, it could be so awesome, so handy. But they just don't seem to have a clue.

We're lucky to have a vw specific store in calgary. Mistakes are made get over it don't trash the place online to all your buddies bitching and complaining. Your saying they should go back to playschool for making a mistake meanwhile when your acting like the child. If you have a problem get some balls and go in and talk the guy who sold the part or ken the owner. I'm sure they would try to make it right, i doubt they're out to screw ya. I've got parts for my self and customers at work even had have thing built from metal fab shops and they have screwed up, **** goes south from time to time.

I go online, read reviews about service providers and the like - both good and bad - and try to make an educated decision about whether or not to spend my money there. Only 2 or so of these posts are "trash" posts. Most of them are "this is my poor experience with this business" posts. In my opinion, it is you sir, acting like the child. This thread has convinced me not to shop at this business. In my mind, it was worth every second of reading.

I've had the complete opposite experiance, CAW has always given me nothing but attitude. C1 hasn't neccesarily been great, but certainly better.

I really find that hard to believe...I'm not a tuner...just a vw guy, and have had no luck at C1...and great service at CAW...I really don't think that Pat EXPECTED him to meet him after hrs...but there have been instances where the courtesy has been offered...if a business messes up...there should be a subtle consession!

Maybe perhaps like hiding the proper one outside somewhere so that he could have left the wrong one there and taken the right one?

^^^THIS!!! This is EXACTLY what Sam did for me. I DID NOT EXPECT anyone to meet me anywhere. I just wanted to come to a solution and was quickly shut down at the thought of trying to find one. I would have gone as far as driving to whoevers house just to pick it up. It takes 3 minutes of someones time (who with no customers in the store is most likely doing fuk all) to negotiate a solution with an unsatisfied customer. Apparently those at concept dont care to fix their own mistakes.

I too have never had a good experience, especially email replies (or lack thereof). My favorite incident was when I called on a friday and asked if they had a replacement FK strut for a mk1, which they did, and also it was in stock. So I drove down from edmonton on saturday morning and when I got there, first Aaron told me that they don't sell single FK struts and when I argued this with him, he changed his story to "you can't replace just the strut on the front of a mk1", as I'm standing there holding the yellow tube that slid out of the spring perch assembly the previous day. Just as I was about to leave in a total rage, I went back in after a cigarette and asked another guy, coincidentally the guy I spoke to on the phone, and he went and got the strut for me. AND, they gave me wrong directions to the zoo, but that's not their job.

After reading and being involved in this thread...I'm hoping that C1 see's it and maybe acts on whats posted here...C1 has most of what I want/need for my car...they just need to get their crap together as far as service and MAN up to their mistakes.

wow lucky it worked out. I would've been super pissed to drive all the way down there and then find out they were mistaken. I've only bought parts from them. minor stuff and no bad experiences yet. last item i bought from them were FK Coils and it didn't come with the coil wrench's. is that normal or is that an extra item? From all the bad experiences here i've read id would definitely thin twice about going there again.
