Speedcat and someone else on the forum work for DECO right?

I highly doubt that an internet forum thread had anything to do with their final decission. I think they just decided to do the right thing and preserved thier companies reputation/name.

I have no hard feelings and I will not bash their company. Mistakes happen and they did a very good job of handeling the situation.

You have better patience than I.
From the 5th of this month, until yesterday (13 days) they left you stressed, and guessing, and asking your peers on an Online Car Forum what to do. Even so much as telling you just 3 days ago, that it was Home Depot's fault.

I don't buy that they weren't aware of this thread. Especially with their own vested interests, and employees actively on this forum during the past 13 days.

Social Media is an incredibly powerful tool.

Considering I know of at least one person who works at deco head office who at least used to frequent this forum.

          Anything is possible I guess.....

Social Media is a very powerful tool. Anything from Facebook, Twitter, forums and blogs could really hurt a companies reputation.

The consumer has a lot of power these days.

              no?

It is funny this comes up again after winter when I am sure lots of people will be needing repairs. If word gets out that small setups like deco screw up and leave the person hanging it will kill the company. In todays market if companies are not on the ball with social media they are already behind the 8 ball.

my biggest problem with deco is the massive rock that took out my window days after giving them 50$ for chip repair
