there were two jets over hidden valley around 6-ish too, but they were cf-18's. They probably have a few extra planes with both stampede and royal folk in town.

On my way to work this morning 8:30am, saw two fighter jets, wing to wing. So awesome.

I miss my old apartment for days like today, used to have an awesome view of the east skyline and the planes approaching.

I ended up getting stuck behind the motorcade on Deerfoot as both myself on the Royals were going to the airport. Spent a while behind some bikes doing 10km/h or so and then we stopped just before Memorial and waited for the train of SUVs to come onto Deerfoot and we followed behind slowish until they got off at McKnight. They are long gone and I am still waiting for my plane to board!
