    Re: Weekly mountain bike rides

Its COP. The smell of rain is enough for them to close. When you don't have a trail crew you have to close at the drop of water.

anything where i dont have to pedal uphill hahaha.

take a look at the bikes posted, they dont climb well lol.

im hitting up whistler thursday night and riding all friday. should be able to get 15-20 runs in.
whistler is one of those places where you tire out long before you run out of time. looking forward to COP opening on weeknights so you can just hotlap and not sit in line for 25 minutes after each 2.5 minute run.

Hey, So i'm planning on having a weekly ride. Every Wednesday evening around 6-6:30. Meeting In south calgary, or our in Station Flats, then shuttle up moose untill the sun goes down. The weather is improving...sort of. If you have any suggestions for what works better, let me know.

                Re: Weekly mountain bike rides

I'll see if I can convince my wife to get all the kids to bed by herself on Wednesdays. If I'm successfull I'll come out as much as possible. Race of spades looks to be in great shape right now. For the XC guys, I rode powderface short loop yesterday and despite all the rain we got Saturday it wasn't too bad. Lots of puddles and high water level in the creek crossings. I only got stuck in a mud pool once, the rest of the time I was able to ride through them no problem.

I love going downhill too, but thought I'd try to balance things out. My XC bike:
