My friend just bought one that was non low profile, it's really nice, much nicer than the Canadian tire/Princess auto ones I've seen/used. Not saying they are good value for the occasional use as they are pricey but they are still much nicer.

Snap-on Blue point makes 3 aluminum jack's that I'm aware of.
All of them are made in China the same as the PA and CT ones. Only difference if the PA one doesn't cost $475 dollars.
That's a ton of cash to dump on a jack that you're weekend wrenching on.

If you're going to spend that kind of cash, there are better options for jacks, and they dont come from PA and CT.

I have the PA one, it's great, does the job and I can use it for 4 years and still return it if I'm not satisfied.

        It's all the same

That custom one is totally jacked up!
Add to that list that the princess auto on is exactly the same too.

acklands-grainger has a really good low profile jack for about $300. it is heavy and steel, 2.5 ton with quite a bit of reach and will get under my lowrider truck's frame at around 3.5" I have owned it for 3 years now with no regrets. hope this helps.

Bought the canadian tire jack. Seems like a very decent unit so I'm pretty happy!
