  • Stolen Bike - if you can keep your eyes open

My custom 2003 Norco 5hun DJ/4x bike was stolen sometime this week from my storage locker.

It's covered in sponsor stickets, with the old nsmb.com stickers up near the headset on each side of the frame, and DAKINE on the left side rear, john henry near the seat on the top tube.
.243 bar and headset, 8" hayes discs front and rear, KENDA tires, shimano beat to **** intermediate DH clipless pedals that NO ONE even made back then, let alone anymore.

    Looks similiar to this

If you have any idea where it might be please let me know

Print off a post and take it to each of the bike shops to get them to keep their eyes peeled for it.

i've gone to a few shops and dropped off a business card and description.

i dont know even how to go about valuing this for insurance purposes. it was a sponsor bike, full custom. and they dont really make these types of hardtails anymore so i cant even go about valuing it.
It was a DJ/4x comp bike, before they started stripping everything off DJ bikes and before 4x went full suspension for every course. All top of the line components and everything. But if i try and buy a top of the line DJ to replace it its like $1000....a top of the line hardtail is $3100, and a 4x bike is $2000-$4000

I know at the time it was around $2700 to buy the 5hun, plus additional parts, so basically $3k....but i have no idea how insurance is going to try and treat this

Re: Stolen Bike - if you can keep your eyes open

                no video
cops were saying video is useless because people just wear stuff to cover faces.
best prevention is proper keys/cards and doors.
The doors weren't tampered with, meaning its an inside job.
