George and TuneDub...the good, honest, reasonably priced, lets you know what can wait if you don't have the cash.Eurodriver member discount.
The bad...his sense of humour(my names George too) likes to pick on me sometimes, his honesty...$$$ is what this is gonna cost you...but it can wait a bit. And I hate the fact that I have'nt seen his.:R out in the summer!
His oil changes are cheaper than the dealer and he also gives your car an honest run through...having a VW/Audi enthusiest work on your car is the best part!

George at Tunedub is great. Very fair and has a passion for cars and customer service. I've never had an issue with him and always come away happy. I've sent friends and family members to him for any service required and they've always been satisfied with the service. Everyone has bad days, but George will stand by his service and make it right.

I've experienced mixed results myself, and have close personal acquaintances and family who can say the same.

Next time I need service in Calgary (if ever) I think I'll go to Glenmore Audi... I hear they're giving out free turbos with alignments!

                    Re: Feedback on Tunedub

George has always treated me very well, been fair and more than competative with pricing and lets me bug him all the time with my dumb-assed questions. Dunno, nothing or no one is perfect but my history at Tunedub with my past 3 VAG cars has been great. I have refered a number of people there with similar results.

Had some grinding noises today with the 2.0 golf. Took it in to George, turns out the control arm was missing a bolt because the threads were stripped. Had the car fixed with a new control arm in 45 mins. So far, havent had any problems with TuneDub. I recommend people there whenever I can!

Bumping up a Tunedub props thread because as always George surprised to the upside. I didn't have an emergency breakdown or anything like that, instead it was a nice to have project but one that needed to be done quickly and he really went out of his way to help and put up with my ass-pain requests. like Kor said in a thread above having Tunedub as a shop is a selling point to owning a VAG car here in Calgary.

More than once George has stayed late himself after everyone else has gone home, so that he can finish my car.

TuneDub also gets a huge thumbs up from me! I always took my GLI there, and I took my GTI last month for its first service. I dropped it off at noon the day before I had it booked in, and by 4 o'clock it was already done! I've need seen that kind of service anywhere else!

I like Jorge (pretty sure thats his name ya?) and Tunedub's service....he told me about ST's when they first came out and I called for pricing a couple times and nobody got back so I just got from Concept1. I avoid that place as much as possible but Tunedub wouldn't call me back! I have my car going in there for an alignment tomorrow. One thing they always button up the little things and let you know where you're at with upcoming services etc. Very honest and knowledgeable there!

I like Paul at Bert & Jacks too. He's a great guy.

Once again absolutely thrilled with George and Tunedub. Called there at 10:00am asking if they could squeeze my car in today. Had it towed there at 2:30pm, it was all done at 4:45pm. Axle, control arm and bushings, all done in an afternoon with no prior appointment or warning, they even stayed late so I could arrange a ride and pick it up.

Never taking the car anywhere else.
