  • used car thoughts

I am thinking of maybe picking up this car this weekend. The family is growing and I think a wagon would be perfect. Any thoughts on this car....

I spoke to him and he does not remember when/if the timing belt was done, obviously has no records or receipts of work done. I'm thinking I would just get the timing belt done right away anyways. Also he said that there was an accident that involved one of the doors and it was replaced. Any thoughts? Do you think the price is fair? etc? Thanks.

You may want to check which airbag options it has if it's a family car?

I think with 200,000km's and not knowing when the timing belt was done that thing better be mint to be getting $5000 for it, how are the brakes? last oil change?

Color matched lower front valence suggests its a one piece aftermarket bumper and that its been in a small front fender bender, notice fit of bumper. no pics of passenger side maybe suggests that the paint color doesnt look good in photos, or a door doesnt fit well on that side. Also posting photos of a dirty car for your FS ad......Makes me wonder how well was it maintained?/ Poor color match on door replacement?

seconded. i'd be wary if he has no idea and no records. could be a ticking time bomb.

Do you think this car that is well documented, but more money would be better?

I noticed all of this too, but I thought maybe if I could get him down to $4500 it might be worth it...
