SPEED cameras recall

I don't know if anyone heard but City of Edmonton screwed up the green light speed cameras and everyone from 2009 (i think) is getting a refund. Did this happen in Calgary.

I had a friend that was going like 140 (I think) in a 70 and he got a ticket for over 800!
Lol just the main bridge on the whitemud but it doesn't matter because there's always atleast 5 car accidents on that road anyway

Not much they can do to him even if it was a mandatory court appearance. They can't prove he was driving.

everytime i drive past that stupid bridge on memorial i just shake my head.

good to know thats where my tax dollars are going. They need all the photo radar vans in the world to help pay for that waste of space.

FYI they bought a new photo radar car, its not a van its a blue F150 struck.

Ya I dont get why he had to go to court but he said he had too. They probably can't give him demerits though because they can't prove he was driving.
Ya I noticed that too they all have trucks now.
You think they should get tickets for idling all day?

i saw the van on memorial last night.

seems stupid that they keep switching these things about. you're going to catch idiot drivers either way. quit wasting tax payer dollars trying to collect more revenue.

I haven't seen a van in a long time now. They always park in such open spots like 97st on the shoulder with the hazard lights on lol. I always slow right down to like 20 when going past them to make it really obvious that i see them.
