I am in the market for a new bedroom set as well as a new sofa. Anyone have any suggestions on where to get good quality stuff?

Eq3, I love my sofa from there. IMO way better than the brick or leons.

revolve or urban barn are great but expensive.. we have alot of stuff from revolve

ikea has decent bedroom sets too that are their higher end line when you add the parts up they'll come out around the price of a set from the brick or higher..

Boo to Leons and Brick...

Revolve is great... EQ3 sometimes has good stuff. Nordesign.... Ikea has gotten a lot better than it used to be... There used to be a decent furniture shop in Deerfoot Mall that had discounted stuff from other major places.

we actually just bought a bedroom set from ikea about 3 months ago and it is actually solid wood! not pressed crap.. its solid.. the pieces once added up cost more than a set at the brick and the quality is actually really good! we are very happy with it

our bonus room is completely from urban barn and revolve and kitchen table,etc is all from revolve.. its well worth the cost as the furniture is really good quality.

I will have to give that revolve place a look because their website sucks. I have been in EQ3 and a lot of their stuff seems to be apartment sized. Looking for a big bed.

revolve is in the balzac mall and down in furniture alley/deerfoot meadows

check the mall one they actually have a pretty big store

i found you just have to go to all of them and see if you find something you like.
i found my couches at an old furniture store.
$6800 california leather couches, had been bought for a new place, people didnt like them and returned, the seller wanted it gone cause it was sitting in the back taking up space.
Got them for under $3k. Well actually my exgf bought them then moved out and left them.

I now sit around in my boxers and eat cereal on them

Think it depends on your price point, but as Andrew said just look around everywhere. Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware also offer some different choices but prices can be up there.

We got our bed from Revolve and they have exclusive mattress's the sell too (or they did been a few years now) and to this day it has been the best bed I have ever slept in.

there's also that place you gotta be a member for. forget the name of it now. Was going to order a table and chairs through them on a friends account but ended up not getting them.

Not worth becoming a member unless you are furnishing a whole new house. And even then.

Better to find a friend with a gf who was dumb enough to buy a membership, and get them to order for you
