  • Any Guitar players ???

Hi, My son (11) has been playing the electric guitar for awhile now, I would like to get him a new one for Xmas but have little clue what to look for.
    Any feed back
Gibson can be $$$ but are they worth the $$$ or overrated?
Paul Reed Smith look and feel decent not too bad of $$$ sound similar to Gibson?
    Fender??

    Thank you

try look at some epiphones, They are made by Gibson and look like Gibsons but cheaper than a Gibson. Very nice guitars and great quality. I have an Epiphone SG and I love it.

also Fender stratacasters and telecasters are super nice guitars, I personally prefer the look and feel of the strats but yea ther are tons of nice guitars out there and the guys at MCC are usually pretty helpful

I've been playing for 10 years now. I prefer Ibanez and Fender guitars personally. I've never liked Gibson/Epiphone's. But that's just my opinion. If you're looking for something a bit cheaper I would get him a Squire Tele or Strat. Squire is just Fender's budget brand.

I've been playing for over 15 years. I would ask what kind of music does he generally play?

            I'm 28 & been playing since I was 5.
I got nothing but love for Taylor Guitars.
Look into the hollow body Taylor T3s or T5s.
            Very satisfying guitars.
