with the decent weather (finally) this year

i was planning on switching to the winter beater for November 1st and parking the S4 then to work on it.

Allroad i'll put winter tires back on it once i know the snow is coming for sure

when is everyone else planning on doing thiers?

I was thinking about this a couple of days ago, I think once the temperature starts to drop to 5 degrees or less I'm going to be putting my winters on, sooo... probly end of Oct or begining of Nov depending on the weather

Beginning of November last week of October for me as well. I learned last year, waiting too late into November is not a good idea.

i had to do this as i didnt have enough money for new summers

also found out they dont make my winters anymore.

i was thinking end of oct as well, and then driving through construction on 17th 2 days ago i broke a belt on my front tire so i have a big bulge in it now! FML, gonna change sooner cause i dont want to drive on it like that!

My winters are in storage along with the rest of my stuff, as soon as the house is finished, I'll get the Pod dropped off and put the winters on. I'm hoping the house is done before Christmas.

I did this too, as I could not afford anything else.

I just put on a set of contiprocontacts. $550 installed. Came of a dude's A3, he drove from dealership to costco on them.

Will be putting mine on in a couple of weeks. My summer tires are bald as hell and don't want the risk of a) blowing a tire, and b) getting caught in a flash snow storm with no tread whatsoever. I just run the stock 15' alloys with winter rubber. Last year I painted them satin black....this year will be completey different. Preppin them this weekend for paint.
