im switching to iPhone4 soon.

BB + Rim really screwed up. I will miss the seamless linking between everything, but it's a willing sacrifice I'll make in order to have a working phone.

i won't argue apple's business ethics. you are on target. apple products appeal to the sheep of the world. the ones that think they're original because they're the same.

tell you what... i'd rather own a few sheep products then stretch my earlobes, dye my hair, tattoo my neck and hang out at the ship and anchor!

but really, being different is what we all are. i gaurentee your butthole smells different then your girlfriends even though you share the same food. so that should be enough. therefore, buy an iphone and don't feel that you are a sheep.

i don't have an emotional attachment to a brand. i have an emotional attachment to technology. for example, the iphone's simplified interface and controlled marketplace provides a very comfortable, safe and easy environment. sounds like an apple marketting line, doesn't it? it's not... it's my opinion based on experience.

if you want to get freaky with your iphone, then there are plenty of "hax0r" tools to play with. for example is the development IDE. you can write some cool shiznizz with little effort. -OR- if you get yourself a 3G or first gen, then throw android on it with iphodroid. i have android on my first gen iphone, it's fun but a POS.

i also have a legit android phone, and i can rant about what a peice of shiz it is all day. it's so bad, that i lent it to mattie (sorry matt, but i'd never lend you a good phone).

i own a bunch of technologies because it's sorta what i do and i have a passion for it. however, my instictual understanding of the inner workings of electronics is also a curse. i recognize design faults and flaws and that causes difficulty in allocating my personal time to learn it. blackberry is an example. it would be a waste of my time to learn anymore of it then i already know because it will disappear soon.

i'm far from a brandwhore. however, i do wear a lot of blue. is blue a brand?

i have a few laptops, one being a macbook pro 17. it's sh!t. it really is. i absolutely can't stand it. i spend most days coding in assembler for hardware IO and also know the difference between intel cores by their hardware interrupts. however, i can _NOT_ for the life of me take the time to learn how to use OS/X! i'm feeling angry just typing this.

the other day, i made graeme reboot my MAC into windows for me because i was about to throw the macbook out the door onto the street.

i don't care about brands. i care about the right technology.

black berry is a wrong technology for growth. i hope you don't have stocks in rim.

I really don't have the time to write up an essay, educating people like YOU why Blackberries are better for business use and Iphones are just toys; though it is fun to see how pissed off you get.

At the end of the day there will be people like you that think their Iphones are the sh!t and I could care less really...just don't be so fkn ignorant and rude posting dumb comments like "f u all bb users" -- really doesn't make you looks cool, or any smarter...makes your looks fkn dumb regardless of your knowledge on Iphones or technology all together.
