    Re: Stolen: 1987 Jetta (Edmonton)

Hope its ok. My co-worker got her civic back from the cops and there was a sleeping bag and needles in the back.

Either way, car is better than no car!

My car has been found, and the theif has been arrested.

Car is back in my possession with minor damage.
                  -curbed wheel
-bent rear seats (trying to get into the trunk)
-no lock cylinder damage, they used a shaved key.
                  -smells like a ****ing ashtray.

How do you plan to prevent this in future? Seeing as it seemed like they didn't have to try all that hard to get it.

Fuel cutoff switch? Power cutoff? Combination?

One of those steering wheel clubs? They don't work for the pros but they will deter the idiots.

For the smoke smell go get your car ozone-ated, or pick up one of the a/c system cleanse air bombs.

Is that your caddy in the pic? If so it makes it an even better picture.

lots of cops...RCMP are so much better than CPS.

good to see its back deaner.

put in a hidden fuel pump cutoff switch. they are dead easy to install.

Ahh ok I have seen that caddy before, awesome swap. A little OT but I agree RCMP are way better then CPS etc, they are trained better and have much less of the huge ego trips. I bought my car this weekend off of a RCMP officer up north, super nice guy.
