So sick. Definitely liking that Fiesta, however I must agree I liked Gymkhana 2 a bit more. Seems like smoother driving (and no i'm not bashing his driving because he's ridiculous!)

That was sick!... Although the cinematography could have been better in my opinion... or maybe I'm expecting Top Gear quality cinematography all the time

subaru was never going to give him a seat in WRC. it just wasn't going to happen. nor do i think block deserves it. in Rally America block was never winning championships despite having a full factory team backing from subaru. Subaru also has pastrana already in place, and mirra working his way up into a place where he can step into block's shoes and drive the car.

the internet hype block brings is huge, but 12 year olds with laptops dont buy subaru's or fiestas. Winning on the WRC scene and having huge european following in the rally scene is what makes these companies money, and its why people like mitsu and citroen do soooo well.

Agreed, I never really got the impression Block was serious about Rally.

he seems pretty serious, i mean he's been doing it for a while now. he's just not that good. at least not WRC good.
he coulding win in Rally America despite having a full factory ride. For those of you that dont follow rally, for most teams, winning isnt the most important thing, simply finishing is. Having to pay out of pocket for items, and not having a full car in parts waiting in the pits is a big deal, it forces drivers to back off because they know they cant fix and replace things.
Block had a full team and was racing against half sponsored privateers, and still wasn't able to pick up a championship.
now he's going against guys like seb loeb on the WRC tour who will absolutely wipe the floor with him.
No doubt the first year or two it will be the usual "its a new car, im just not used to it yet" but eventually thats gotta run out.

he's an amazing driver with tremendous car control, i will give him that, and not taking away from his skill. But as far as actual rally goes, he's just not there.
