  • Deerfoot wheel damage

I've got some pretty substational damage to my front two wheels, almost positive it's from driving north bound on deerfoot where they are re paving. Anyone know if it is possible to get reimbursed for the repairs? Anyone else have damage

Not sure. but I drive that everyday and its such a harsh bump over the bridges. I should check out my wheels too now that you mentioned bent wheels. Where are they bent, on the inner portion of the rim?

There is a big one on the north lane for sure.... It's posted as 80km/h but I think that would still be too fast for bigger wheels.

is there a BUMP sign or the raised mound visual sign posted near where this is? if so the city/province whoever has jurisdiction over that work covered their ass.
if not, go after them, but i think you'll be going after the province and their contractor

A buddy has the same problem with his wheel. He ended up talking to a guy at lafarge and told him to drop by with pictures. So heres to hoping they fix it. Either way I'm going to be the first to switch to winter mode tonight

                  FYI

if your heading north of calgary to airdrie.. watch out because they are repaving #2 by the ghey balzac mall.. the freaking road cutout hey didn't even smooth it!!!!!!!! its like a 3" wall to smash into! my poor 19s

really its more worth it to drive up the balzac exit and merge back down to #2 and miss the ****! i do it daily now.. sigh!

warning to red deer crew for tomorrow night!

I drive from evergreen to Balzac 5 days a week so I know about that bump to. I know the bumps are bad but I didn't think this would happen. Oh well taking the wheels off right away I don't need a blow out on the way to work. I ll try and take a picture
