Well I am not sure I would say cars are stupid cheap in Sing but yest the registration and such is nuts, my current GTI would cost 130,000-150,000 there, but they do have the new Golf R!

Thanks for the info, I assume your Mom is still living there? When was the last time you were there? I was there in 2008 and can tell lots has changed since then even. I know a couple other people living there, one expat and one local so have some good resources. I hear Holland Village is a pretty big expat area, we are currently looking at places in Little India, here it is a fun place to be and some nice new buildings there too!

No she Lives here. But her current job is helping families relocating. I remember when we moved to singapore that she wished someone was able to help her get accustomed the country.

Goodluck in Singapore! Seems that not many people move abroad anymore, or even travel that much. I'm sure it will be a fantastic life experience. I don't know you well, but from what i've seen, you've done a great job as president.

My wife and I love travel and are both born and raised Calgarians and are getting pretty frustrated with this place. Combine that with not much keeping us here (no kids, but parents here) and financial security to make a move comfortable and we figure the time will never be better.

And the prospect of taking weekend trips to places like this seems like a lot of fun!!!
