well when you go to pick up your rental car see what the insurance company has you in, hopefully they won't put you in a "premium" vehicle because those depending on the demand can be $100+/day. Depending on your transit needs I would personally just bus it for a few days and forget the rental car.

TD was good to deal with thus far on my claim, they've done the best the could under the circumstances and have been accomodating...no complaints thus far.

i've heard decent things about TD, only reason I refuse to go with them is I applied for an online insurance quote 3 years ago for a car I never ended up buying, now they call me at least twice a year asking if I still want insurance from them on the car. I don't think they are getting the message hahaha, just thought I would add that piece of useless info haha..

Well I get a rental car on money for 5 days till they figure things out. I asked if this was on top of my rental coverage as it is not ma fault they are taking so long, I was given the run around answer and now am unsure of how long before I am totally screwed over.

Do you have Loss of Use coverage? I have a $5,000 rental allowance and can use it if the car is in the shop or if they are trying to sort out a write off situation. That coverage extends for 3 days past their offer of settlement as well.

I've coverage, no dicking around thus far...rocking the Ford Edge..which is a remarkably decent vehicle for what it is...

finally got my appraisal done 2day....2k in damage and 156 dents! now to find someone to get her back to her minty self!

I got my quote done last week if I remember correctly. $1500, closer to 20 dents - wonder why yours is only $500 more for such a large increase in damage. I have an appointment booked with Calgary Coachworks on Aug 25th where Thomas from beyond.ca has setup his shop to work on these repairs.

do u need paint work done?! ive been quoted as just needing paintless dent repair...and is Thomas...TOMCO?! if so i heard he's who i should be contacting...
