Has anyone gotten a quote yet? I've got some pretty minor damage on the roof. Just wondering it's worth the deductable and losing my 10% claim free discount for three years.

I can't get through, TD Meloche told me I'd get a call in 1 to 2 weeks. I don't think a comprehensive claim would cause you to loose the claims free discount...but I don't know.

Ah, how's that for reverse karma...just got a hold of her!

Got an appraisal appointment immediately...only because they just added another shop and are appraising without their people there (having body shop do it). We'll see how this goes...

I was just told by TD that I'd lose the claims free discount for three years if I went ahead with the hail claim.

Will the ice cube screatch the paint? I've seen this with dry ice and with compressed air. Has anyone here had any success? I might try this.

I believe that will only work with larger dents. I guess I better phone moleche again and see if I can get an appraisal done earlier. I am about 90% sure my car will be a complete write off as I looked at it yesterday and I also have damage all long the passenger side as well :(

The damage assessment is $7,000...new hood and roof, paintless dent removal on the rest. They're gonna blend the paint onto the fenders...not sure what to think of that...

yea that whole thing is a farce, i've never seen it work other than on youtube videos with i guess "ideal" dents. Pretty sure you run a high risk of damaging the paint doing that too, I don't care what these backyard youtube mechs. say.

Lucked out and after rechecking only have a few visible dents, the tree my car was parked next to must have protected it a bit.

gotta keep the insurance low though so no claims for me haha.

LOL try ICBC. You pay pay pay and they screw you over, and then you try to claim something and you're straight up fucked.

                            The A4 aint a write-off.
The damages were estimated @ approx. $11K

Well I get a rental car on money for 5 days till they figure things out. I asked if this was on top of my rental coverage as it is not ma fault they are taking so long, I was given the run around answer and now am unsure of how long before I am totally screwed over.
