thats the kind of hail storms we see in Med Hat every year at least once. as soon as i heard there was that storm in calgary i called my wife and she ran out and bought a car tarp. when she got hom see covered the car with blankets and the tarp.
feel bad for those of you that got hit bad.
That A4 got it worse then my car, mine don't look as deep but I have a couple hundred hits along the hood, drivers fender, both drivers side doors and the roof. My bet is it is likely a write off too. I see a lot of VW parts circulating around soon.

I'm a complete noob in terms of written-off vehicles.
If insurance calls it as a write-off, what would benefit me best in this situation?
Should I buy it back then repair it & try to sell it?
Should I buy it back then repair it & keep it?
Should I take the moneys that the insurance company will offer for the A4?
TIA.

Downtown at 11th Avenue and 3rd street SW it was pea sized hail.
I'm glad my cars are inside my garage at home.

WHAT?!
I work at 11th ave and 7th St SW and we had golfballs. Some guy in a black jetta got wrecked. It was brutal. Some dude in an older Alfa spider, got his windshield destroyed then literally broken out of the frame and fell onto his dash. Dented the bajesus out of the car. Feel so bad for that guy.
Girl at work, picked up her 2010 leased Civic on Thursday, and now it looks like a golfball. She isn't all that happy. My '95 Toyota Van beater, parked right two stalls over. Got 8 dents in the roof that I can see. I might try this ice cube heat gun deal. I couldn't really care less, I have 315 thousand k's on it.
Anyone know how Lone Star Merc did? Anyone know how these dealerships deal with hail damage?
