okay, got all my photos "fixed".

Anyone figured out how to change the home screen background on the 3g iphone yet?

Background can't be changed on the 3g.

And I believe there is an unlock out already through redsn0w.

haha...I've used both, mine is awesome, yours really does blow!!

Upgrade to the iphone as soon as you can, you won't regret it.

Back to the update...The new "folders" for apps work awesome, so easy to organize and clean up the home screens!

WAIT, you have a Blackberry?!?!?! or did you convert? I most likely will be getting the iphone4 when it comes out ONLY because RIM is releasing a BBM app which will include a pin #, giving the iphone BBM, and the wife wants the video calling for when we are out of town so we can talk to the kids "face to face"

Couldn't get 'er done. Kept getting stuck in the backup stage for
like an hour.

let it do it's thing.. it backs up your entire device (apps,movies,music) so if it's full it takes its sweet time

I'll give it another rip. I did do a bit of checking and it seems some people are running into extra long backups while doing the upgrade. Patience John, patience...

Yup super long, mine was almost full and so far we are 80 mins into the new install...

Hour and 1/4 and still in early stage of backup = buggy install. I quit for now.

I like the update, it let the devs release the unlock for the newest baseband firmware, hence I have an unlocked phone again.
