My dad just got an invitation to see the official unveiling of the Phaeton or something so I get to go along for that! Sorry just had to brag. BTW, did anyone else get one?

Yea I also got 1 for Northland u have too rsvp by Nov20. Also in that invite was a interesting fact. For 2001-03, 1.8, VR6andW8 vw has issued a service action to replace the ignition coils that are applicable to the recall.You may find your vehicle to be running rough or exhibiting a lack of power ect. I'll be there at Northland on the 24th. It's suppose to be a wine and cheese festival and the CEO or VWOA will be there.

Im just curious - all the unveilings I've been to, they have not once checked for your invitation. I would assume that as a VW owner, any of us could attend, right?

I wasn't planning on really going it will probably not be much of a party... I definitely didn't see the word 'topless' in the invitation.

Yes, they don't always check for invitations but not too many people have been invited, so if everyone that owns a dub shows up I am sure they'll check. Plus you can test drive the Phaeton afterwards (atleast that's what my dads invite said) so they could check 'em then.
