Had three cars done at Tint Masters, all perfect, had one car done at car saloon twice, both time awful, needs to be done again, but I don't have seven hours to wait around again for them to screw it up again.
Current: Golf R and a corporate lease nobody cares about
Damien at Icon Window tinting has done 3 of my cars that I've owned over the years, never been disappointed. As soon as I can my Golf is getting done there.

While he is a great installer, I don't like the product he uses! Global tinting system or something? It appears dark blue/purple, not black. Kind of bothers the "perfectionist" in me. (personal experience on my last car)

I haven't been there in a few years so I don't know if his tinting product has changed. Thanks for the heads up though, that kind of bugs me a little. I'm like you and I wouldn't want blue/purple either.
I found shadow tint was ok, but if you are really picky then I wouldn't recommend them, i've had one car done by them and I have several friends who had cars done by them and although there weren't significant bubble patches myself and most of my friends have had to retouch it and get minor bubbles out, not a huge deal of course but not the best either. I also noticed they did a sloppy job on the back window of my car.
