What is with idiots in this town? They can barely walk normally in the +15's, yet they are allowed to drive.

Are you considered less of a man if you dont let the guy beside you in when he's been indicating for the last 50m?

Did your parents not teach you how the zipper worked? And do you not understand that in gridlock traffic if you all want to get there faster it works better to merge one let one merge one the same as a zipper?

Does it make you super cool when sitting in gridlock if you see the other lane moving quicker to suddenly dart out regardless of if there are other cars coming at a higher rate of speed.

Why when it rains, snows, rains money do people lose all ability to do anything?

yea that merge thing kills me too, and when people don't understand what to do when there is a sign showing you have your own lane and don't need to yield.

I've noticed though that people in calgary are especially bad around cross walks, almost got hit today because a girl pulled around on the right thinking that the other person just randomly stopped in the middle of the road.

Had a guy about a month ago run me out of a crosswalk in his G35, I smacked the side of the car as he ripped by haha, guy wasn't to happy, slammed on his brakes jumped out and got in my face trying to tell me I was some how in the wrong for touching his car , guy threatened several times to kick my ass which I was prepared for but he was tiny and was just all talk.

oh the crosswalk thing is a bad one too.
i used to live right downtown and walk, now im in bridgeland and bike but similiar issues.

i've had people making rights not see the walk signal and try and turn, ive had someone run over my foot right outside my office, and ive had countless people just not see me.

i always wait to make sure they see me, but sometimes you get the odd idiot who is just a space cadet and too busy looking left for a free space.

i love slamming their trunks. i did it to a beamer once and the driver stopped and yelled, but the idiot flat out almost hit me once i just lost it on. he started to get out of his car but i kicked his door shut and screamed at him he was lucky all he has is a small dent on his door rather than me through his windshield (i had had a really bad morning and was not in the mood).

Still think the funniest is when I nearly got hit in the middle of a cross walk by a cop pulling an illegal uturn

yea i've had those days too everyone seems out to try to take a limb. A while ago I was walking with my dad and we walked by the exit to a parking lot and someone ripped out and slammed on her brakes and nearly slid into us, my dad took his fist and hit her hood as hard as he could, I asked him after why he freaked out so bad because he is a super calm guy and wouldn't usually do that and apparently that was the second time that day the same lady had nearly hit him (she lives in our neighborhood), unfortunately it seems people don't learn haha.

Vancouver is just as bad. Sometimes worse. I kid you not, I have seen older asian women driving with these visors:

And they can't even see over the dash.

I swear to god, my aggressive driving saves my life sometimes.

                      Re: bad Calgary Drivers

This how I got in my first accident. I have lived in southern Ontario all my life and have had zero accidents. I move out here, and within 6 months got into my first.

Some lady didn't look and pulled right out in front of me from the passing lane on Edmonton trail meters away from the 20Ave intersection. I was in the curb lane. No signal or anything. She was accelerating from a dead stop while I was already travelling at 50-60 kms. She then decides to turn right onto 20th Ave soon after, but there was a person just stepping off of the curb to enter the crosswalk. So she slammed on her brakes, and I had nowhere to go but into the back end of her Saturn. No one stayed behind to be a witness, so the accident got deemed my fault because I rear-ended her.

In general, compared to where I am from, the drivers out here in Alberta are horrible. It seems like 90% of the drivers out here got there licence by blowing the person giving them there driving test. No one knows how to merge, they over-exaggerate when it snows or rains, they drive 10 kms under the speed limit or do the speed limit to the kilometer, and have no conception of the rules of the left hand passing lane. Fustrating as all hell!! But I try to avoid all the idiots by driving aggresively. I figure if I can get by them faster, the better chance I have of staying out of more accidents.

P.S. what the hell is with the visor thing?

in china/hong kong having white skin is seen as a sign of wealth and status, because poor people work outside in the fields and get a tan. so they wear these things that make them look like bobba fett to keep their faces completely covered.

Wow...Thats *ucked!! It reminds me of History class. Apparently in the Medievel Times, it was better to be fat. The fatter you were the richer you were(status). Being skinny meant you were poor.
