    So here's the story,

My brother just gave me his SLR camera since he doesn't use it. I might as well put it to good use. I never really been serious with taking pictures. Still completely newb with using it but I'm learning. Not sure how many photographers are on here, but I've seen some cool pics on here by some.

Thought it'd be cool if we had a forum for those who like taking pictures that want to post and share. Feel free to post any of your favorite photos you've taken. Can be anything.

Here's some pics I took that I thought were cool.

Nice pictures! I like the wire fence with the maple leaf hanging and the Eiffel Tower is sweet too.

Here's more that I thought turned out pretty good.

I'll add more once I get more uploaded. res is bad as facebook compressed these ones.

Focus a bit more on composition! Obviously the camera takes good photos, but try new angles and not centering everything. Dynamic images are always better than static! Good start though.

I have recently been pissing around with my dads SLR. I'm not that good but it is fun. Here some of my attempts.

                    Nope.

Guy lives 2 doors down from me but he isn't on the forums. Don't know if he wants to sell it. I could ask him if you're serious.

Nice picture dude. I posted a couple in my build thread but i'm going to post them in here too. New camera, these have only been autocorrected and cropped.

Anyone have any suggestions for photo editing software? Maybe something I can edit RAW images in?

Lightroom or Aperture. These will do the basic adjustments that you will need.

From what I've heard they only rolled out a 64-bit version of certain bits of the software. Does PS CS5 run on 32-bit?

I run 64-bit both at work and at home, so I'm curious if it will run for regular folks with regular computers.

(also, me want. where'd you get it?)
