Re: What did we do today?
The wire you seek is in the connector station located directly beneath the fuse panel. Can't remember which one exactly, but if you search for my TIP/6 speed DIY on AZ, you will see that the reverse lights wiring comes back to this point on the interior side of the wiring harness. That is all the help I will give, the entertainment value of watching you go crazy is far to valuable to aid any further.I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

Alex, are you talking about the wiring for the actual camera itself, or the switch that indicates the vehicle is in reverse and the monitor should select the back up camera as input?I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

Re: What did we do today?
both, you can't tap the camera itself to the lead you speak of beneath the fuse panel. I guess you could connect the lead from the stereo to that connector and then run power to the camera from the back-up light in the tail light....but it seams like a lot of extra work. Since you have to run an RCA cable from the camera to the deck anyways, I would just piggy back an extra wire from the camera to the deck's reverse lead so it's one connection......Don't Panic, I'm Hispanic

Re: What did we do today?
i hooked my power up to the car stereo power. to the accessory line. it won't draw enough current for the acessory line, so its golden.
