also there is 1010tires, out of van. so you don't pay crazy shipping charges, I was able to get tires from them that no one in calgary could get in a reasonable amount of time (shortest waiting list was 3 weeks).

I haven't heard of them either. Toyos are quite a bit cheaper in the US due to Toyo screwing over Canadians.

Honestly I don't think I would buy Toyo's for that reason.

I remember when 1010tires had a .com and a .ca website and the price difference on the same Toyo was 30 or 40% more, and they wouldn't let you order from the .com site when they found out you were from Canada.

Sorry, this probably doesn't help you but maybe talk to some local shops and see what they would recommend for a cost effective performance tire.

I would suggest you confirm with them and the shipping company they use because "shipped" does not usually mean all duties and brokerage fees included, so your $670.00 could come in over $800.00 quickly, or even more. You need to factor an exchange factor of approx 1.05 (credit card companies do not give you bank rate), 6% duty minimum, and I have seen brokerage fees over $100.00 from some carriers before. If the price quoted from the site does land everything at that cost, it would be cheap for those tires. If not, we would normally sell these at a club price for $956.55 taxes included, but if bought in Canada you also get an $80.00 mail in rebate right now to bring the cost down to $876.55 once the rebate is done, as well as we provide discounts on the labour cost when the tires are bought from us vs when you bring in tires from an outside source. Tally the total on your car and we would be quite close, or possibly slightly cheaper.

As said before, I can't always promise we are cheaper on every product you can find online, but we are frequently close enough to justify the extra level of service and peace of mind you get from dealing with a reputable local company...
