what i have observed from this "ordeal" is that defending yourself is bad.

why don't we all take a moment to re-read every post in the thread at question from beginning to end. then, we can talk.

Defending oneself is never an issue, you just have to do it without the name calling. Everyone will take you more seriously without it.

This is the internet. People are anonymous, they are able to hide behind a monitor. Take nothing on the internet seriously. What are we? Twelve?

I have a great idea, go outside and work on your car, drive your car, hop on a bike, go camping, have a beer. So many more useful things, than wasting your time ***** fighting over an event.

Shops **** up, people make mistakes. Now this could have been a dangerous costly mistake. But that is why you take your stuff to a shop, a shop who is bonded and insured.

Also, you are going to lose that close group feeling, when the forum grows, and people outside the group comment. This is the internet, if you truly have a problem with someone, PM them, find some bike racks, and set a time. I will be there to watch the rocktagon, camera in hand.

Otherwise just walk away from the forum, who gives hoot what someone on the internet thinks about you?

Speaking of which, I am going to go for a rip on the bike.

those who piss me off, get pissed on. those who don't, will learn from me as i also learn from them. i don't take crap and i never will. i also won't sit and watch people regurgitate false information.

the thread that started this started off as a question that moved to informative and factual. it ended in a disaster from people who failed to read, and others who just didn't belong.

what gets me the most is how i (and i repeat): told burger/collin how eurodrivers is not a political website like the others. and look what happens? i'm incredibly disappointed and pissed at a whole lot of you.

it angers me that i actually let myself care. if providing facts and technically contributing to this website is going to cause these situations, then i don't see the benefit in participating.

Well the point of this is not to point fingers or lay blame on anyone specific but watch the attitudes of what you post so we can keep this forum as friendly as possible. Everything was not bad in the K04 thread but it got too school yard after a while, and I know some people were taking it over the top in hopes of it being locked, but I don't enjoy coming back from my holiday to have a slew of PMs and reported posts from one thread that never needed to get that out of control.

DJ no one questions your knowledge or contributions to this forum, as with many other members, and I do feel bad that a newly joined member has come away with a bad taste and some rough threads as that is not the way it should happen around here and that is what I hope to avoid going forward.

I am also looking forward to the end of the Merman/maid meme too!

k i'm not sure why or how this whold merman crap started.. the one mermaid of allisa milano was cool but the men are just wierd

people have to remember we have a few mods on here.. blair and myself are the primary ones but if you need someone done just PM myself, blair and kris (kor) and we will take care of it for you

I think is just one of those things that is funny like annoying a friend or family member with the "I'm not touching you but my finger is 1 inch from your cheek" game is funny... It's something that should be completely innocuous, yet it has the exact opposite effect and becomes so disturbing it can turn the kindest, nicest people into angry brain sucking zombies! Hahaa!
