As long as you are on before 4:00 its fairly wide open... all he would need is a stretch of roughly 1km.

You were right, it was me that misread. One post states it was a tuesday afternoon, and but then the owner said it was around noon.

Really. I've been searching for actual data to back this, but then again it's not the first time an officer has just completley spewed BS.

There is no way you can do 240 at noon, pretty sure. If there is any traffic on the road at all, even in a sports car its tough to do the high 100's.

no, you'd need to consider the calibration technique. calibration is up to the municipal, and in the case of calgary it's done up to 130km/hr.

that's the explanation.
