Agreed...if you can't read english, then how are you suppossed to read road signs? Don't even get me started...LOL

If the road signs are primarily symbol based then you can get away without knowing English/French.

I just dislike that the drivers tests come in more then our 2 national languages. Sorry if you can't read english or french you don't deserve the privilege of driving here.

So does this mean then that those of us here who don't read french fluently shouldn't have the privilege of driving in quebec because most of the road signs are in french?????

Back on topic, i did that test yesterday as i need a quick removal of points.

It has got to be the most annoying/boring **** to sift through. The videos were so lame. The shitty part was that you had to really go through it as the final exam was based on the information. You had to rmr a ton of numbers.

There were 3 options you could choose from at the end to get your completion paper.
1. Regular mail 3-5 days
2. Pick up(office is in Calgary)
3. Expedited

Since i needed it the next day i clicked Pick up and was done. I went yesterday to their office and they said it takes 3-5 days to process it initially(There was no mention of this on the site). Then they said we can have it done for you on Sat. Then we can have it for you on Friday morning. Then we will do it later today but you can pick it up tomorrow(Friday). Then i asked if they could print it out for me quicker, the girl at the front desk said sure, for $50 dollars. $50 Fucking bux to click PRINT on the computer and give me my fucking paper. Ive bought a lot of useless **** before, and threw money like nothing, but this seemed like the biggest rip off in the world. I thought about it for a second, but she then replied, even if you wanted it now i cant do it for you as our printer is down.

There seems to be no organization within this company. From start to finish the whole process went up and down. At the beginning you signed up and paid on one site, yet you used a totally different site to sign in and do the test. Every 20 minutes it would say there is a technical problem and you would have to sign back in. Every module had a test at the end of it, and for some reason, **** you havent even been taught was being questioned. To only find out that at the end of the module test, the information would come up. Anyways enough of the bitching...

You have 3 chances to get 80% on the final exam. I passed it on my second try, but saved the questions and answers. If anyone wants a quick way out and not feel like reading, just let me know and ill send it your way.

It has less to do with road signs as it does to communication if you get in an accident. Or reading those construction signs or highway information signs. Imagine getting in an accident and some guy yelling at you in some other language, then the cops come and they can't understand a word eitehr. So then they have to get some sort of translator etc etc, sorry it just doesn't fly.

sorry my comment was in reference to the course. you can take "defensive driving" but from the looks of it you do it without even driving a car its all classroom theory.

I think they have been around for some time.

Got around to picking up the paper today, it was in and out which was surprising.

Went to the registry and it was another 10 bux to process it. At least i got a laugh while i was in there.

A brown lady had come in an asked to do a written exam, she also mentioned that if she doesnt pass her husband will hit her on the head.
