This song hit #7 on billboards again in 93 . The song is (as you can assume in the video ) about the lead guitarist ( Jerry Cantrell) father and his time spent in the war in Vietnam

This is the oldest songs i listen to on a Weekly basis . I was only 9 when this song came out. So far ahead of its time Nine Inch Nails was largely in post apocalyptic film soundtracks . IE. roller boys and Later the Crow .
These two songs were From the debut album Pretty hate machine released in 1989

I dont have a lot of history on the grapes of wrath . but they are a great part of canadian music history , and this song is an awsome representation of the early 90s school dance lol

I remember seeing the video and trying to figure out how he was 'walking on water'. At the time it never occurred to me that there was a plexiglass box in the pool. Sorry if I spoiled it for anyone
