Blair's Song Of The Day Thread
Well I have been thinking of doing this for a while and I will see how it goes but I am going to try and post up a new song each day, one that I am currently enjoying. Music is a very important part of my life and I probably average 8-10 hours a day of listening to various tunes so I thought I might pass on what I am liking to you all.
I started at a very young age, my parents were always playing records at home and when I was about 5 I had a Fisher Price record player in my room and three albums I recall in regular rotation in my room were; The Smurfs, ACDC Back In Black and The Stray Cats Built For Speed. In High School and University I played bass in a punk/metal band and was going to every show I could find around town. More recently I started listening a lot more to electronica and seeing a number of DJs play live and I have always thrown some hip hop in the mix for variety too!
Thus all these things have shaped my musical interests and tastes and will influence what I post up in the thread. I am sure most things will not be for everyone but feel free to comment and let me know your thoughts and I hope some of you will appreciate a track or two even.
