I posted up some Rustie a little way back but been listening to the whole album this week and just love the sound and energy of it, I reccomend grabbing a copy of Glass Swords by Rustie if you enjoy this one.

Having a bit of a flashback morning and maybe influenced by being away from Canada and such I thought I would post up some classic Canadian Folk Rock, which I think still sounds pretty good today, a band I used to listen to in High School (I guess I am getting pretty old, LOL) Spirit Of The West.

I posted a lot from The xx previously and their debut album is still an amazing listen IMO. Their second album is due for release next week and I have had a quick listen and definitely enjoying it so far as well!!

I prefer the second track but maybe have to give the album a couple listens to fully decide.

This is a fresh release from Calvin Harris featuring the amazing voice of Florence Welch (Florence + The Machine) but I am a little worried Harris is going down the David Guetta path and getting a bit too poppy and mainstream with all these collaborations, but still makes some great tracks!

I've boycotted both artists. Calvin was awesome 2-3 years ago but lately his stuff hasn't been to my liking. But he does put on one hell of a show. Last year he was insane in kelowna and closed with sandstorm! As for the Mau5..... meh. He's probably one of the worst live shows I have seen. BTW if you wanna listen to the full album, UltraRecords on youtube uploaded the whole album.

holllly crap, I didn't see this thread until now. I love house music so I'll definitely have to go through all 20 pages. Personally I'm not big into dubstep, but there's a few songs I like. Here's one for the dubsteppers. happy dubbing

Its a decent EP. I honestly listen to it when i'm at home mostly but there are some bangers on there. 2013 is going to be a big year for DnB

I was not sure at first but after giving that Netsky disc several listens I am a big fan of it now for sure, Love Has Gone and Come Alive seem to be my favs the energy is amazing.

Anyway on to some new tracks, first new Chase & Status, sort of has a metal vibe to it which I find appealing!

Well going back to some rock I have been a fan of Coheed and Cambria for a number of years now, just enjoy their style and they continue to put out some quality music whether you get into the whole story aspect of it or not. Their most recent album has just been out for a couple of weeks and so far this is my favorite track, tempted to go see them as they are doing a couple shows here next week.

^That new Coheed album is still in high rotation this week, I like it a lot!!

Something a bit different today, this is the debut album from alt-j and this album has won the Mercury Music Prize here in the UK, one of the highest honors on this side of the pond. The sound is very interesting and the more I listen to it, the more I am quite enjoying the sound so here are a couple of tracks to help you decide.
