Amazing day to be Canadian by far, and the Olympics were a success for the whole nation IMO.

As the game ended I could see all the pubs on my street empty out and begin the walk to the red mile so I am sure it was a gong show. Glad I am just far enough away to still be able to escape and not be too loud either.

yes i was one of the assholes driving around honking! well i wasn't driving my gf was. i was out the passenger window with one hand on the horn.

I have to say. I was pretty cynical at first, with some of the absolutely pathetic attempts we had earlier in the games. But as the second week started, it was pretty sick. Started to win ****, for me it was Jon Montgomery who shifted my view of Athletes.

1-2 in Womens boblsleigh, hockey, mens curling (had a lot of fun watching this, we watched every curling game).

It was strange how pumped everyone became for obscure sports. Seriously though, Curling is a fun sport to watch and drink beers.
