    Re: Home Theater Build

you know built into windows7 is windows media centre right?

you should be able to run everything from there, though I choose VLC for most of my video stuff except blu-ray discs.

                          Re: Home Theater Build

I have been using a HTPC now for 3 years. Haven't had a desk since and love using my pc from the couch.

As I have EVERYTHING throught the computer, nothing external at all, I use the program "Air Mouse Pro" with my iPhone. It's a keyboard/mouse solution/remote for your computer. LOVE it. Also uses the accelerometer to move the mouse too, similar to the gyration device shown earlier.

Nice build keep updating with pics.

Make it bigger rather then smaller, run a vacuum tube for any late additions and be ready to repaint the wall.... oh and don't forget about all the dust.

I've been using the same one for a while now. The recent updates to it make it much better to use with Media center. A traditional remote still works better though.
