any other time of the year, yes this is a good deal.

but right now, concept1 has them on sale for $95 Canadian ($69 USD) unpainted. So throw on $75 for paint, and you will have it for about $20-30 cheaper than from the vortex special, and you wont have to wait 2-3 weeks.

yah its not only not a bad price, its a damn good one too!

so think of it this way. if you were to buy from vortex, thats $110+15 shipping(canada)+$10duty(crossing the border0 = $135 USD = $175 Canadian

Through C1 its $95 *1.07 = $101.50 with tax. I'm sure you can find some place to paint if for $73.50 and it'll be even.

I'd go through C1 just because you can buy it right now, and not have to wait 2 weeks for shipping. And if there is a paint issue, it will be local, rather than having to send it back.

This is all just my opinion, feel free to throw it out.

Mike, having a black grille on yer car would be awesome. I tihnk I might get a badgless grille and not paint it. Do these grilles have notch fillers and you have to paint those fillers right?

i agree, but with my front bumper I think i kind of need the grille i have, Ive never really thought that rs4 bumpers looked good with stock, or even stock-like badgeless grills. I am however going to paint my mirrors black (if they ever freakin get here)

EDIT: I think your car would look kickass with a black badgeless grille, but I think that painting it black would look better than unpainted (its the little details that make a nice car truly stand out)
