Are those cars AWD? Thought I saw a cv shaft hanging out of the front left wheel in one of the pics. Crazy accident though. And no serious injuries to boot. Thats a good testiment to what these cars are able to do. Not like those Chinese cars......

Wow.After viewing the Chinese car crash testing and all the copying of designs and horrible ratings, it gives me peace of mind driving my car even though theres some cool Chinese designs.Not every one gives thought to the safety features that go into a vehicle ,until there deployed or used.




Are those cars AWD? Thought I saw a cv shaft hanging out of the front left wheel in one of the pics. Crazy accident though. And no serious injuries to boot. Thats a good testiment to what these cars are able to do. Not like those Chinese cars......

amen to that, I feel safer in my 1980 volvo with no abs, airbags or traction control than I do in my Mk4 jetta.

I think its by 2020 volvo is aiming for not a single person to die in one of their vehicles. Now that is a company with their priorities straight!

That bmw looks horrid after the crash, glad the guy got out ok.

I don't totally follow this whole Volvo safety thing. Like I have always thought they were pretty safe, and have always believed it. But Youtube some Volvo crashes.

its the x drive , they should just not offer the awd since its unpredictable in thoes cars , but the saftey is bar none .
