  • Roger Williamson F1 crash..

I was watching this, its depressing how people can fail to help someone in despair.

Makes you think who would help you, would a total stranger save you or would you save a stranger in need?

    Watch it. Makes you think.

(I know the whole story and speculation into the reasons for why the race was not stopped and why the fire truck was driven slow, not prepared employees, shitty tracks during that era ect.)

Since when did saving someone's life need training for. Especially if it meant just flipping the car over.

Yeah if you look at it the heat would be unbearable for the officials, the driver had fire retardant gear. Sad, but the heat is one issue, then there was the lack of information for the main officials to know what was happening in order to stop race. You could blame many people in the end it was just a cluster **** of issues.

Moving the effort he put into saving a fellow racer that he barely knew.

Its just like how VW owners stop to help other VW owners even thought they don't know them..

Only this is way more moving.

Burns heal death is permanent. I would've at least liked to have seen some effort to push the car over. Life over limb is the key word here. But I agree there are other factors.
