But if you use the Telus storm 2 on rogers its only good for 2G speeds.....

So here is the scoop. The Telus Storm2 9550 is a CDMA & GSM phone, I know it will be only 2G on Rogers. I had it unlocked by Horizon Wireless. My problem is that without a SIM card in I can surf with WiFi no problem. When I put in my SIM card from my Curve the Hotspot and WAP browser disappear and I can only use the Internet browser on my data plan. Which is crazy because I am 10 feet from my router.

BTW all three browsers are available on my Curve.

I have Bell + iPhone 3gs Works EVERYWHERE my old CDMA phone works and some places it wouldn't including very remote places in northern Canada. I was amazed.

Sorry off topic but with the Upgrades to their networks Rogers has a lot of work to do if they are going to stay competitive.

Bell has good coverage, but not a phone i have got from them has lasted the 2 years so i can get my upgrade credit.

If your not stuck with rogers, go to bell, phone and complain about anything and they will just throw free stuff at you. I have everything but data, $25/month
