Where to buy Shure Headphones in Calgary

I'm looking for a pair of Shure SE530PTH headphones but cant find anywhere in calgary that stocks them.

Tom Lee Music in vancouver sells them but we dont seem to have one here that i can find. Long and Mcquade doesn't carry them.

Futureshop carries Shure but only to the SE210's, not as high as the 530's.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'd buy them down here in texas right now but warranty could be an issue and i dont want to risk it on something like that.

K&W Audio sells them. Not sure if they're in stock... but they carry all the high end stuff. Bought my Focal Towers from them. Good guys.

i just found through some extensive google searching that axe music carries them. gonna give them a shout. i will check out K&W too though thanks.

Found out on the weekend there's an apple store in Market Mall, I had no idea.

I bought my Sennheiser studio headphones from either Axe or Mothers music I can't remember now.

I haven't been to axe in a while but they were trying to become sort of "DJ specialists" so not too surprising they have good headphones.

I like mothers as they have always been really friendly and willing to help.

Edit: Didn't realize you were looking for earbuds. I have no idea where you would find overpriced ear buds, as most of the music stores will be selling over the ear.

Shure are good, I personally prefer Etymotic headphones. You don't pay quite as much for the name.

I drove past the Axe store on Blackfoot last week....they look closed. Not sure if they have shut down or moved but the parking lot was empty and there was a big real estate sign out front. London Drugs also carries Sure earbuds....Not sure how far up the line they go but I did some priced at around $150 there.

i believe its on mcleod according to their website. just picked up a set.......holy hell im falling in love with music all over again. its amazing what you miss in music when you have crappy headphones/speakers. im listening to old classics and hearing instruments and sounds i never knew existed.

plus i can sit on the busy trade floor at work and not hear a damn thing

If you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you do? You seem to be travelling a fair bit, your location says Calgary/Vancouver, and there is a trade floor where you work, sounds mysterious.

i work in oil in gas for one of the supermajors.
i've been spending a lot of time down in the great state of texas at our north american campus.

can't really complain about the latter aside from not being home. its been between 22-32 degrees for the most part and its perfect golf weather. i've been getting in like 2 rounds during the week here and its dirt cheap.

i happen to work on the trade floor, its fully open to promote communication, with all employees sitting at long benches. because there is a lot of talk back and forth between traders and analysts and people on the phones its quite loud. they pump a lot of white noise in to try and offset it but its still pretty loud. if im trying to sit and read a document its nice to have a decent set of headphoens that will block out the noise. the problem with crappy headphones is they dont block the noise, and you end up turning up the volume to compensate. you just trade one loud noise for another. also flying 10 hours a week starts to suck cause of the constant drone of plane engines.
