  • Car Hold Pictures

Well i'm finally done enough whereas I can park both cars in the car hold again.

For all the hangups I used the Rubbermaid fasttrack gear. It cost probably 500 bucks total for all the hooks/rails/shelve I bought. Me being lazy it was an easy choice compared to building them myself.

For my first time drywalling I thought I did a pretty good job of it. I need to do some accent painting still on some boards and the stairs/railing to the house.

Also I need to install fluorescent lights up top for working on the cars..

Ceiling is textured and I did it all myself with basically thinned out drywall mud mixed with white primer and used a special roller.. of course the shot of floor shows the aftermath haha.. but that will get cleaned up in the spring for now i don't care

built my own workbench which I'm able to store the lawn mower and some other random crap under. This was actually easy as I had all left over 2x4s from the basement and all I had to do was get a sheet of MDF cut at home depot.

Only thing I need to worry about now is figuring out storage for the extra wheels I have sitting around.

hahah nah kris.. the rubbermaid rails can hold up to 1800 lbs apparantly!

i used all the stud i could as they are drilled for stud spacing and then they came with drywall inserts that are HUGE.. 3/8" predrill and the plastic insert pushes and becomes a T on the inside.. #10 2" screws..

the shelving units i wanted to test so i hung myself off of the shelf hangers and did a chinup and no issue at all and i'm like 230 atm

ps.. random parts in the pictures.. passat bumpers, 3 sets of wheels/tires.. s4 downpipes and a euro boot for my s4

                        Re: Car Hold Pictures

maybe mark.. depending on what budget i'm allowed i may go custom offsets as if i do widen the fenders out i'll need wider wheels... not full widebody but like .5 widebody lol
