I maintain the xbox wheel is not good. It's really fun to use which makes it more frustrating when it doesn't work. Most of them had an issue where the wheel wouldn't center properly so to drive straight you were always fighting the force feedback in one direction and when you steered the other direction there would be a dead spot.

The Fantec setup looks awesome.

I have never had one single issue with mine in 2+ years of use (and I used it ALOT on FM2 lol)...I know of four other people with the same wheel and never heard of any issues either...luck of the draw I guess

I use the right joystick for gas and brake. I can't get the same setup as Forza2, so I have a bit of getting used to. I'll wait till a better wheel comes out, the xbox wheel is ok, but you can do better with the controller.

It is luck of the draw yes, but was a huge number defective. The power supply was also recalled due to overheating and catching on fire.

I bought one the same time as a friend and his was fine too.

I bought mine BEFORE Forza2 came out so I would hope that the new ones are ok. The one smart feature was putting the hoop on the behind the pedals so they don't slide away on you.

i made a WRX for that hanger course haha been doing some ken block drifts in and out of hangers and the 360 through the hangers haha quite excellent!

Finally got a few races in last night. Won the Scirroco, fiat, alfa romeo. I bought the fiesta first.

I dropped the RS200 I4 into the feista for a tasty 500 hp, and then AWD and new tranny. Couldn't afford anything else after that.

If you test drive so you can tune your car, go to the 1/4 mile in the laredo? test track?

Fastest I could run was 11.028 with everything else stock.

Can def make it an under 10sec car. It will end up like 2250lbs with like 700hp, and AWD


Bring your "A" game.


The "Quick Upgrade" Option is neat. Will be good when you got a pile of cash, and just want to upgrade everything instintly

Up to level 10 so far, currently spedning a lot of time in a 2009 Ford Focus RS tuned to 345hp, doing very well in the C-class races. Lots of fun, we need to get some pics of the cars up here!
