  • Petition to Disband the CRTC

Once again the CRTC is owning us consumers, and giving the big corporations the power.

"consumers rates based on how much bandwidth they use each month, or offer discounts during off-peak hours."
    This is a ridiculous idea.

It says Canada is the first country to impose a framework like this, yeah because no-one thinks it is necessary.

They are just going to throttle users who have high usage. When instead they should be upgrading their networks. This is retarded. Petition signed.

that sounds more like a power bill with no fixed rate per month.

Exactly. When we had Dial-up you paid for B/W but now that we are in a DSL and above age, it is just stupid.

I can't stand the idea. I don't want to have to track my usage. I have to when I am at the U, as I only get 5gigs a month. It is super annoying.

Snag many torrents there as the speed is disgusting.

If consumers demanded a scalable billing then they would, but instead we have the ISP's developing more ways to separate you and more of your money.
