      thanks
Different shops are better at different things in the city. I used to go to Eastridge down off 114th, but they've closed now and joined back up with their original store just off Glenmore.

I also find Action hobby to be pretty good and good pricing on aircraft stuff.

The owner can be a little grumpy at times but his wife is really friendly.

If I was going to buy online I would probably try great hobbies out of Edmonton.

I had no idea that we had RC guys on the board. I use to have a Savage X that I sold a few months back. Last year I bought an E-Revo that I use currently, haven't used it much this year.

I agree to when it comes to Action Hobby. Pm isn't that bad. I found the guys at Eastridge knowledgeable when they were opened on 114th. I've never shopped at Great Hobbies but their prices aren't bad. I've known people long ago that shopped online with them and they were pretty good.

Figure I'll add to this old thread. I've recently got into the hobby. Picked up a traxxas slayer pro ( short course truck on revo chassis) with a 3.3cc nitro engine.

Went through a rough learning process and break in. Broke 2 spur gears, lost and engine mount bolt, and fried the clutch shoes.

Took it all apart and inspected everything flowing the break in period and replaced all the stuff i broke. Finally got a chance to take it out today and rip around...so much fun. I like knowing that with this hobby I can break stuff and be worried about it. Un like euro cars hobby lol.

Not much for pictures but heres a cupple. It's a 1/10 scale. Loving it so far.

            Waterproofed the electronics with balloons.

            Blown clutch shoes.
