  • Re: RC guys

other than a indoor track would it be safe to drive the f104 on the street or parking lot? also where do you get one, i'm so tempted. i use to have a t-maxx but i crashed it to many times, and it became to expensive to upkeep.

You can use it on the street yea but it needs to be clean streets. They do nice indoor prActices in Calgary evry Tuesday and wednsday and I am sure they are starting up a f1 class soon

            I have:

            - Tamiya Subaru WRC (forgot the chassis code on what this is) mostly stock except for full ball bearing upgrades and my own aluminum skidplates and battery mount (for better weight distribution.)

            - Tamiya Hilux 4WD (very vintage) with a few mods to chassis. This truck is a lot of fun, as are all of the ladder framed Tamiya 4x4s.

            - Also run a few 1/24 scale R/Cs indoors with my son...
Yes, I drive one of those "olympic" cars with the rings on the front....

Loved the part near the beginning where you flipped over the side, hit the ramp then kept going lol

I've been so tempted to get a Mini or TA05 to race indoor onroad. I think I may add a small Heli to my mix of RC's though, really tempted just haven't gone through with it yet.

what site is a good place to buy from, i'm looking at a car and helicopter. i want something fairly cheap for my dad for christmas, he's getting the helicopter. a store in town would be nice to but they seem to be quite expensive from what i remember.
                            thanks

Locally the guys at Model Land have helped me out a few times for parts, not sure what their complete sets are worth.

I have also ordered from Great Hobbies online. It was a pretty small order, but I had no problems.
