As I no doubt mentioned somewhere before, I've never been a fan. He may be a good driver, but he was given too much slack and too many pardons. He was and most likely still is a reckless driver. I've always really liked Senna and Prost.
Music to permeate your soul … Jayson MKIV Jetta GLS VR6-PARTING OUT-
wasn't it the fact that ross brawn engineered his cars so well and gave good strategy that let him win? either way awsome to see him willing to make a come back. he can't be that old maybe 35??
Meh, I like the fact he is a bit reckless. It might put some grit in the races. Get these baby-faced drivers to stop bitching about the turbulence of the air and move onto the weird crunch with carbon fiber get hit.
I am not a fan of Massa. Bitchy little Brazilian, should be playing soccer. Somewhere he can truly complain over nothing. But I do hope he make a recovery from his injuries.
Well we did not see him in 2009, but looks like we will in 2010!
What began as a wild rumour has slowly edged towards near-fact: Michael Schumacher is returning to the formula one grid.
The hardening speculation has been all but confirmed by Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo, with whom the 40-year-old German won five of his seven world championships until 2006.
The Italian told international reporters at a Christmas dinner on Friday that, during a conversation with Ferrari adviser Schumacher earlier this week, "he told me there is a very strong possibility" he will race a Mercedes next year.
Montezemolo joked that, after Schumacher renewed his consultancy contract for three additional years at Monza in mid September, the German set to be Nico Rosberg's 2010 teammate is the Ferrari legend's "twin".
"There's another one who looks like him, 40, 41 years old, German, same name and decided to do a new career," he said.
Montezemolo confirms that some of Ferrari's passionate Tifosi will not appreciate the news that Schumacher will be wearing silver in 2010.
"They think Michael is a traitor. But I will explain to them it is not Michael but another one. The real Michael is still with Ferrari."
Schumacher's return is set to be announced either shortly after Christmas, or at the beginning of January.

Mercedes Grand Prix have officially confirmed Michael Schumacher has signed a one year contract as Nico Rosberg's team mate for 2010. He will reportedly earn approximately 7 million euros and will attempt to add more victories to his glittering career that includes 7 drivers world championships, 91 victories and 68 pole positions.
It marks the second attempt by F1's most successful driver to return to the grid. Just last year, Schumacher had agreed to replace the injured Felipe Massa for Scuderia Ferrari, but a previously sustained neck injuring ruined his chances. But Schumacher recently underwent medical checks and is confident he is back to full fitness.
"Mercedes Grand Prix Petronas represents a new challenge for me both in a sporting and a personal context," Schumacher commented. "It is a new chapter in my racing career and I am really looking forward to working with my old friend Ross Brawn and my companions from my days with the Mercedes Junior Programme."
"I am convinced that together we will be involved in the fight for the Formula 1 World Championship next year and I am already looking forward to getting back onto the race track. For me, this partnership closes the circle. Mercedes supported me for so many years when I began my Formula 1 career and now I can hopefully give something back to the brand with the star."
