Fun drives

I am looking for some fun drives in and around Calgary, I have a couple in my home town in BC, but I haven't really found any good ones out here.

My criteria is:
Under 2ish hrs
Smooth roads
Some twisty sections
Not too busy

Bonus features:
Places of interest i.e. restaurants, ice cream shop, coffee etc.
Good views
Nice back drops for photos

What highways does it take? Is that highway 40 through Peter Lougheed Park?

He must be talking about the hwy 40 there, exits at longview if so that is a good trip except for all of the freerange cattle means you really have to keep your eyes open and tons of crap all over the road literally. I like the 762 as well which is a shortcut between Millarville and Bragg Creek. The good stuff is really twisty but only about 10k long but you can just turn around and run laps for a while. 1A from Cochrane to Canmore can be pretty good too as long as the road is in good shape, I used to go it with my bike all of the time and it was a blast you just need to watch for potholes and such.

I forgot about 1A, that is a good one. I could cruise to Canmore for dinner.

Do you mean Groat road, as in the road in Edmonton? As that is a hella fun little stretch of road to tear up.
